Originally debuted at the 2004 New York JVC Jazz Festival starring Billy Harper and Gregory Charles Royal. It's a Hardbop Life made history as the first play to feature an entire cast of jazz musicians. Written by Gregory Charles Royal.

Set in 1964 New York, It's a Hard bop Life is a tragedy about a jazz musican named Q. and his wealthy girlfriend Julie's struggle over his artistic ethics and her shallow desire for singing fame. This all happening on the day of Q.'s band Hard Bop's debut performance at the Jazz Corner Nightclub.

1 hour and 45 minutes, including intermission

Tickets for BeBop future events are being offered as a special to BeBop Club Members.
